Bath golf team competes at Caledonia Country Club

CALEDONIA - Bath Haverling's Jonathan Moore earned a place in the Section V golf tournament with a extra-hole playoff with Honeoye Falls-Lima's Brad Denton Monday, May 12, at Caledonia Country Club.

Moore and Denton finished in a tie for 10th place after shooting matching rounds of 83.

Despite hitting his drive into a water hazard, Moore finished the extra hole with a bogey, while Denton made double bogey.

"It was great that Jonathan didn't give up after hitting his drive in the water," said Bath head coach John Moore.

Moore advances to the sectional tournament which will be held at Stafford Country Club on Monday. It will be the second trip to sectionals for the Rams junior.

Bath's Taylor Parsons finished with an 89, while teammate Brett Santacroce finished with a 94.
