Voters approve area school budgets

BATH - Haverling school board member Rosalie Niemczyk, who ousted an incumbent school board member five years by a close vote, survived a challenge by Bath resident Donnette Wager last week to hold onto her seat with a close vote of 623-601.
Niemczyk will begin another five-year term on the board, where she has frequently sparred with school officials over budgetary and building issues.
Separately, residents of the Haverling school district approved a $30.3 million budget, 632-522. Voters also approved a proposition authorizing the purchase of a school bus.-09 budget:
