PAINTED POST - In a game that harkened back to the now-defunct Sullivan Trail Conference, Bath Haverling scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning to blow open a threerun game as the Rams beat Corning West 11-3 in a non eleague baseball game.

The two schools, which competed against each other twice annually in the STC before splitting off into different leagues, kept the game close for six innings until Bath struck for five runs already leading 6-3. For Bath, Thursday's win was the third game in as many days, with one more May 23.

Brett Havens belted a triple and drove in three runs for the Rams (18-4), while Dustin Brown doubled in a run and Justin Brown plated two runs. Matt Whedbee drove in two runs for Bath and starting pitcher Brad York fanned five in five innings to earn the win.

West (4-14) was led by Kevin Childs who hit a double, a home run and drove in two runners, while Josh grant plated the Vikings' other run.
