Blanche I. (Keller) Bitz

Webster - Blanche I. (Keller) Bitz, 89, passed away May 19.

Born July 28, 1918 and raised in Bath. She attended Haverling Central School. She later graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rider College. She was employed as a Secretary at the University of Rochester Atomic Energy Project for a few years before marrying Robert Bitz in 1958. She traveled extensively and visited Hawaii, England, Ireland and Australia. She was a long time sister to the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority (Rochester Chapter of the Rider Alumni Club).

Survived by two daughters, Ruth Taylor of San Antonio, Texas and Laura Stevenson of Titusville, Florida; three grandchildren, Theresa Marie, Amy Lynn and Brian Patrick Stevenson; and two stepgrandchildren, Anthony Michael and Richard Joseph Taylor.
