Unlicensed Operation

Steuben County Sheriff 's deputies last week charged Teresa C. Sarver, 46, of Butts Road, Prattsburgh, with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Sarver allegedly operated a motor vehicle after meeting with her probation officer in the Steuben County Office Building. She allegedly has a revoked driver's license status in New York for driving while intoxicated. She is to appear in Bath village court at a later date.

Assault

On May 25, state police in Bath charged two Avoca residents with first degree burglary and first degree assault 1st degree. Charged were Renee Levesque, 35, and her brother Roger Levesque, 30. The charges stem from allegations that they unlawfully entered the residence of their estranged stepfather, Everett Wargo Sr., which is located on county Route 6 in Avoca, and physically assaulted him. Wargo was transported to Arnot Ogden Hospital in Elmira., where he was treated for his injuries and remains in critical condition. The defendants were arraigned in Cohocton town court and were remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.

Probation Warrant

Steuben County Sheriff's deputies last week arrested Kevin Alan Orr Jr., 24, of Howe St., Prattsburgh, on a charge of probation violation. Orr was located at a residence on state Route 226 in the Town of Bradford. He fled the property upon the arrival of the sheriff's deputies and was located in a nearby creek bed attempting to elude authorities. He was taken to the Steuben County Jail to await arraignment in county court.

Orr originally was placed on probation for a perjury conviction.
