A first for Bath lacrosse
GATEHOUSE MEDIA

BATH - For the first time in school history, Bath Haverling can claim a winning season in boys lacrosse.

The Rams (9-8) beat Midlakes 8-6 Saturday, May 24, in a regular-season finale that gave the six-year lacrosse program its first campaign above the .500 mark. Bath went 0-for-40 the last two seasons.

"It's a great feeling, the kids are excited. There were a lot smiles afterwards," said Ken DiDominik, the only coach Bath has ever known. "We had a slow finish at the end, but we're happy with the season we put together."

Six different Rams scored goals Saturday, including Dave Harris and Nick Rossi who each netted two. Zach Reed had a goal and three assists, while Mckenzie Durham, Andy Nesbitt and Cole Beebe each stretched the net once. Chris Wolfer made 18 saves and held Midlakes to three secondhalf goals.

Nick Newland led all scorers with five goals for Midlakes.
