Milford Charles Gridley

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA - Milford Charles Gridley, 82, passed away Saturday, May 31, formerly of Bath.

He was born in North Hornell, to Charles L. Gridley and Myrta Benham Gridley, July 28, 1925.

He had two brothers, and one sister all deceased.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marjorie E. Jones Gridley, formerly of Bath; two sons John M. Gridley residing in Indianapolis and Lawrence

R. Gridley residing in Lexington, Kentucky. Also sister-in-laws, Marian L. Hibbard of Syracuse, Phyllis A. Jones of Bath, Wendy L. Jones of Livonia, Michigan, wife of Robert L. Jones, deceased. Milford had seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

He graduated from Alfred University. He worked 30 years as a service supervisor and erection engineer for Ingersoll Rand Company, Painted Post, Chicago, Illinois and Newark, New Jersey. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service was at Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222 on June 7, 2008 at 12 p.m. Pastor Larry Evans, of Cloverleaf Baptist Church officiated. Condolences can be sent to Marjorie E. Gridley, 5231 Rinehart Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46241.
