Police need assistance

Bath police Chief David Rouse last week announced police officers are attempting to locate witnesses of an erratic motorist who was operating a green 1997 Mercury Marquis in a northerly direction on Liberty and Geneva streets on June 5 at about 4:25 p.m. June 5. The operator was eventually stopped by Bath police and state police on state Route 54 near the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Marijuana

Bath village police last week arrested Rebecca S. Fisk, 43, and her son, Chase A Longwell, 18, both of 35 Belfast St., Bath, on drug related charges.

Fisk and Longwell were charged with two counts each of third-degree criminal sale of marijuana and two counts each of fifthdegree criminal possession of marijuana.

Police arrested Fisk and Longwell on a Superior Court warrant stemming from a sealed grand fury indictment. Both individuals were arraigned in Steuben County court and released on their own recognizance.

State police

Bath state police last week reported the following charges:

• Christopher A. Manley, 24, of Keuka Park, third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and following two closely. He is to appear in Bath town court at a later date.

• Mitchell W. Prestridge, 34, of Avoca, criminal mischief. He was remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail or a $2,000 property bond.

• Autumn K. Hale, of Avoca, for unlawful possession of marijuana. She is scheduled to appear in Avoca town court at a later date.

• Darwin D. Brewer, 21, of Avoca, for fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is scheduled to appear in Avoca town court at a later date.
