Graduation Announcements

Bethany Dreiling, daughter of Steve Dreiling and Laura Opelt of Hammondsport, graduated with Honors from Michigan State University s on May 5, 2008. Ms. Dreiling earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. She intends on attending Palmer Chiropractic College in Florida in the Fall.

Lauren Mitchell, the daughter of Mark and Eleata Mitchell, of Bath, graduated from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry - Ranger School on May 17. She is a 2007 graduate of Haverling Central School.

She was the Salutatorian of her class. She was also awarded the Frank and Letitia Buholtz Scholarship, the Wesson Scholarship Award, the 12th Forestry Chair's Award, the North American Forest Technology Honorary (all for academic excellence and leadership) and the Maple Leaf Award (for volunteer service to the college.)

Lauren will be working this summer for the Maine Conservation Corps as an assistant team leader. This fall she will continue her education at the main campus of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, majoring in Environmental Science. 2008 Victory Baptist Academy Graduates
