The blotter Grand larceny Christopher Abeel, of Denwood Terrace, Bath was charged by indictment with third degree grand larceny. Charges were brought out of allegations that in March of 2008, in the village of Hammondsport, Abeel stole more than three thousand dollars. DWI Timothy Farrell, of Green Acres, Bath was charged by indictment with two counts of driving while intoxicated. Charges were brought out of allegations that on Feb. 23, in the town of Bath, Farrell operated a vehicle while intoxicated. Criminal mischief Sheriff 's deputies charged Jeremy G. Harris, 24, of Cameron with fourth degree criminal mischief, stemming from an incident that occurred at the Acorn Market in the village of Addison on June 29. An altercation occurred between multiple people and a hole was punched in a wall. Harris will appear in the village of Addison court at a later date. Marijuana State police of Painted Post last week charged Alexander K. Caward, 18, of Savona for unlawful possession of marijuana. He is scheduled to appear in the town of Corning court at a later date. Assault State police of Bath last week charged Justin D. Hicks, 21, and Kyle Parker, 19, both of Prattsburgh, Mathew A. Stewart, 19, of Branchport and Chad A. Yeoman, 22 of Bath with third degree assault following a fight. A 16 year old youth was also arrested for third degree assault but his name is being withheld pending possible youthful offender status. All are scheduled to appear in the town of Prattsburgh court at a later date. |
