Global warming needs coordinated action now

I am a student here in the town of Bath who has a great concern for the issue of global warming. Global warming is a terrible problem that is drastically altering our environment and causing many horrific changes in the climate through out the world and even here in our own town. If no one steps up to the plate and addresses this issue, it could create catastrophic problems in our future.

I do not want to grow up to live in a town that has been ruined by global warming. I take measures, like purchasing energy efficient goods, but I can't try to fight global warming alone. There are many people besides myself that ardently support the awareness of this issue, but if the people in power don't act, measures to prevent global warming will not be taken. I know that if people act now many of the tribulations global warming brings about can be resolved and corrected so that our future environment remains intact.

Hopefully, for our futures sake our congressman will take action in Washington. Congress needs to realize that we care about global warming and they must act to try to stop it.
