Crooker, Hynes run well for TRTC

WELLSVILLE - Carey Crooker and Allison Hynes proved to be fairly dominant in the distance events at the third track meet of the summer season in Wellsville. Crooker, competing in the 15 and 16 girls division finished first in both the 800 and 1500 meter runs while Hynes finished first in the 1500 and second in the 800 runs of the girls 13 and 14 age division. Also in the 15 and 16 division for the boys Sean Ainsworth took a first in the 800 run and Sam Armstrong placed first in the 1500 meter run while Zach McCann finished in third for the 1500 run. Rounding out the 13 and 14 division Bryan Seager finished second in the boys discus, Joel Rosko was first in the 1500 and third in the 200, and Jachob Brockway brought home a third in the 1500 runa nd a fourth place in the 200 sprint. Darnell Barron teamed up with Rosko, Brockway and Seager to take first in the 800 meter relay.

In the 8 and under division John Lyons finished first in the 800 run, second in the 55 hurdles and third in the 50 sprint. In the 11 and 12 division Emily Hynes took a first in the 1500 meter run and a pair of fourth place finishes in the 55 hurdles and the 50 spring. Brenna Lyons sprinted to a second place finish in the 55 hurdles and ran to second place in the 1500 meter run. In the 17 to 34 age division Courtney Roche won the womens 200 sprint and Brett Rosko was second in the mens 800 and 1500 meter runs. Roche and Rosko also teamed up with Sierra White and Zach McCann to place second in the 800 meter relay. Later Roche and Rosko paired with Sierra White and Bryan Seager to take second in the 1600 meter relay.

In the 35 to 49 age division Regena Rosko threw the discus to a first place finish while in the 50 an dup age division Kevin Rosko threw the discus to a second place finish.
