Gloria M. Knowles

BATH - Gloria M. Knowles, age 79, of Conley's Court, Bath died Friday, Aug. 15.

She was born Dec. 21, 1928 in Thurston, the daughter of William and Florence Cook. She was a waitress at Dutch's Restaurant in Bath.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane (Jack) Geyer of Bath, NY; three sons, Roger (Amy) Knowles of Bath, Preston Knowles of Henrietta and Gerald Knowles of Faribault, Minnesota; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Nedra Steitzer of Hornell and Shirley Berlin of Texas. She was predeceased by her husband, Winton Knowles; her brother, Ranger Cook; and two sisters, Waneta Graves and Roberta Graves.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008 at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath with Rev. Greg Buckley officiating. Burial will be in the Nondaga Cemetery.
