Bath youth football teams fall to Jr. Knights

The teams hosted Canisteo and York Saturday afternoon, Sept. 6. One flag team hosted the Canisteo Redmen while the other two flag teams played each other. The kids played for an hour while the cheerleaders encouraged the flag players.
The Junior Rams team hosted the Jr. Knights and was never able to get their offense going as they fell 28 - 0. The offense started slow and never could put a good drive together. The defense was led by Tyler Finch with 9 tackles, Connor Didomineck with 5 tackles and a fumble recovery. Other leading defenders were Malcom Jones with 4 tackles and Noah Hockaday with a fumble recovery.
The Senior Rams team held York scoreless until the final seconds of the first half. But in the second half the Rams were unable to match their first half effort and fell 30-6. The Rams offense was led by Jade Galligan with 18 yards rushing and a 65 yard to pass reception. The defense was also led by Jade Galligan and Casey Buckley with 11 tackles each with Buckley adding a fumble recovery. Dalton Robinson and Micheal Rice each added 10 tackles.
The teams host Livonia today starting at 12 p.m.
