Robert H. Decker
He was born May 18, 1924 at home in Bristol, New York, the sonof Hovey Lee and Anna Decker. He served in the army during World War II and was a herdsman for Hopkins Dairy Farms for 20 years. The following seventeen years he worked at Westinghouse and Phillips Lighting Company in Bath as an electrician in the maintenance department until retirement in 1986. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Agnes Lyke Decker; two daughters, Connie (Louis) Frankel and Sheila (Paul) Meese; two grandchildren, Tara Meese and Eric (Lindsie) Meese; and a great granddaughter, Kennedy Meese. Calling hours were observed Thursday, Sept. 25 from 1-5 p.m. at Bond Davis Funeral Home of Bath where his committal service was held at the conclusion of calling hours at 5 p.m. Donations can be made to St. Jame's McAurley manor Dialysis Unit in North Hornell in Robert's name to help others. |
