Thomas F. White
He is predeceased by his parents, William and Winifred White; stepmother, Ruthanne White; and his brother and sister in-law, Michael and Alice White. He is survived by his brothers, William (Dorothy) White, Dr. Richard (Rory) White, John (Linda) White, Terrance (Sue) White and Robert (Betty) White; sisters, Barbara White and Mary K. Smith; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews. Thomas was a decorated Marine Corp. Veteran. Serving in Vietnam he earned a purple heart. He resided at the Bath VA Nursing Home. He was past Chaplin for the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Chaplin of the Marine Corp. Liege. Tom was a life long member of the Marine Corp. Liege, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. He was an avid Bill's fan. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the staff on the third floor and all others that made the past 6 years Tommy's best. The family received friends on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bath VA Union Chapel, Bath, where his Funeral Mass was held at 1 p.m. His burial was held at the Bath National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, expressions of Sympathy in memory of Thomas may be made to theVolunteer Services Bath VA Medical Center, 76 Veterans Ave., Bath, NY 14810. Arrangements are being handled by Bond-Davis Funeral Home of Bath. |
