Bath Youth Rams defeat Canisteo

The flag teams hosted Canisteo and split and played against each other. They look forward to these weekends' games against Wayland.

The Junior Rams tied Canisteo by a 14- 14 score. The Rams offense was led by fullback Conner DiDomineck with 69 yards. His blocking allowed for tailback Josh Carpenter to tally up 59 yards and 1 touchdown plus the extra point. The other touchdown was scored by Tyler Finch on a quarterback wedge play. The defense was led by Nathan Birch with 6 tackles and a forced fumble and recovery. The other major contributors on defense were Josh Carpenter with 5 tackles and Ryan Stewart and Jonathan Deats who each had a fumble recovery.

The Senior Rams improved their division record to 1 -1 with a dominating 28 - 6 win over Canisteo.

The offensive line did an outstanding job as the team was able to gain over 300 yards rushing. The leading rusher was Jade Galligan with 8 carries for 144 yds and 1 touchdown. Michael Rice had 8 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown while the third touchdown was scored by Harley Lyons who added 35 yards rushing. The Rams defense was led by Bruce Rinker and Dalton Robinson who had 10 tackles each. Other leading tacklers were Tyler Vantreese and Harley Lyons who each had 6 tackles. Tyler Racalto had a 12 yard interception return to cap of an outstanding game.

The teams traveled to Wayland this weekend with the flag game starting at 10:30.
