PAINTED POST - The popular Sit-N-Bull Pub is now open noon till close seven-days a week under new ownership.
LeRoy and Kimberly Koser recently purchased the 107 Village Square bar/restaurant and they plan to keep pub similar to what it has been for decades while making minor improvements to make it an even nicer place to visit.
“We’re really excited, we have a lot invested in this,” said LeRoy Koser. “The main thing we want to do is to be open more hours every day of the week. We will add some more televisions and also add some things to the menu.”
LeRoy Koser said none of the popular things on the Sit-N-Bull menu that “people have loved” will be removed.
“All of those things will stay the same,” he said. “We just plan to add onto the menu a little bit and offer a little more variety.”
The pub will continue to host bands, mostly on the weekends, and other entertainment like trivia may soon be held at the Sit-N-Bull.
“We haven’t narrowed that down just yet,” LeRoy Koser said. “We just want to keep the Sit-N-Bull the same place that it’s always been, open even more hours with more to do making it even a better place to go.”
The Koser’s purchased the Sit-N-Bull Pub Jan. 2, from former owner Jeff Heitzenrater, who owned the business for the past 18 years.
