Police said at about 1:35 a.m. Tuesday, patrolmen responded to the area of South Main and Mount. Zoar streets for a report of a suspicious condition that a body had been located in a dumpster located behind the Samaritan Center.
Solt said the deceased body inside a dumpster was located and emergency medical personnel responded.
The caller was interviewed and he stated he had observed a fight in the area where a person was knocked down, Solt said. The caller then saw a person being carried away from the scene of the fight towards the area of Mount Zoar Street.
Solt said officers were able to identify the location where the initial confrontation took place.
