BATH - Two men are behind bars after police executed a search warrant Tuesday at an East Washington Street apartment in connection to a three-month narcotics investigation in the village.
Patrick L. Travis, 52, of 6 E. Washington St., was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree criminal nuisance, police said. He was arraigned in Bath Village Court and sent to the Steuben County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.
Bath Village Police Department Investigator Colin Taft said during the search, 64 seperate bags containing suspected crack-cocaine were found on Travis.
Gerald D. Iverson, 48, of 97 Elba St., Rochester, was charged with four-counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Iverson, who was wanted on a superior court warrant, was sent to the Steuben County Jail without bail.
Taft said both Travis and Iverson will apppear in Steuben County Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
