Bath teens charged after traffic stop

Four Bath teenagers are facing charges of unlawful possession, after being pulled over for a traffic infraction on State Route 54 early Saturday morning, December 31, according to Yates County deputies.
Brian J. Hojnoski, 18, of 204 E. Williams St.; Samuel B. Armstrong, 19, of 5869 Turnpike Road; Ryan J. Ainsworth, 19, of 6841 Lake Salubria Dr.; and Aaron M. Preston, 17, of 5 Warden St., were each charged with unlawful possession of an alcoholic beverage with intent to consume, according to deputies.
Deputies said after Hojnoski was pulled over for a traffic infraction, an odor of alcoholic beverage was detected coming from him and the three passengers.
The four young men will appear in court at a later date.
