Petit larceny
CAMPBELL | Deputies report the arrest of two Campbell residents Thursday. Deputies report the arrest of Scott D. Chandler, 43, and Sherri L. Patterson, 44, of Manning Ridge Road, Painted Post. Both were charged with petit larceny after deputies investigated the report of gravel being taken from the Steuben County Department of Public Works Highways Shop in Curtiss during the month of December 2012. Both suspects were issued appearance tickets to appear in the town of Campbell court at a later date.
MVA
BATH | Deputies report of a one car motor vehicle rollover accident that occurred on Windfall Road in the town of Bath. It is reported that Kimberly Wilson, 27, of Avoca, was traveling on Windfall Road at about 2 a.m. Wednesday when she failed to negotiate a curve. Wilson's vehicle left the roadway, collided with a ditch and overturned. Wilson sustained a serious physical injury and was transported to IRA Davenport Hospital for treatment. Deputies allege that unreasonable speed combined with alcohol involvement were factors in the collision. Deputies are continuing to investigate and charges are pending.
Disorderly conduct
BATH | Deputies report the arrest of Christopher A. Spengler, 24, of West Washington Street, Bath for disorderly conduct at the County Office Building. Spengler was issued an appearance ticket to reappear in the village of Bath court at a later date.
DWI/Controlled substance
BATH | Deputies report the arrest of Cassondra L. Gessner, 28, of Bath. Gessner was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation. Upon investigation she was found to be in an intoxicated condition and also illegally possessed a prescription narcotic. Gessner was charged with driving while intoxicated and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was arraigned in the village of Bath court and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation/Harassment
BATH | Deputies report that Kenneth A. Mccray, 42, of Bath, was arrested and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment. The charges stem from a domestic dispute where Mccray allegedly choked and grabbed a female. He was arraigned in the town of Bath court and send to the Steuben County Jail on bail. He will appear in the town of Bath court at a later date.

Endangering the welfare of a child
COOPERS PLAINS | On January 17, 2013 Troopers were dispatched to the GST Boces Campus in Coopers Plains, for the report of a disruptive student who had assaulted other students and staff. Upon arrival, the student, age 15, was taken into custody under the Mental Health Law, and transported to Corning Hospital for evaluation. After further investigation, including conferring with the Steuben County Law Dept., the youth was charged as a juvenile delinquent with endangering the welfare of a child, and petitioned into Steuben County Family Court.
