A house across the street from Westboro Baptist headquarters in Topeka, Kan., was painted in gay pride colors yesterday, NPR reported. Westboro is known for protesting at military funerals with signs that read “God hates [gays],” among other things. The owner of the house, Aaron Jackson, said he bought it specifically to paint it in protest of Westboro.

The Dow Jones opened at 14,455.82 after finishing up 3.76 points Tuesday.
