Katherine (Mattoon) Hoffman of Bath and Brian Mattoon of Avoca, NY are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Angela Mattoon to Emil Bekyarov. Emil is the son of Biser and Minka Bekyarov of Smilan, Bulgaria.
The couple were married on September 5, 2011 at the Esperanza Mansion, Bluff Point, NY. Officiating the ceremony was the bride’s godfather, James Johnson of Avoca, NY.
The bridal party consisted of co-Maids of Honor, Erika Mattoon of Arlington, VA, sister of the bride and Lauren White of San Francisco, California, friend of the bride. The groom was accompanied by his father, Biser Bekyarov of Bulgaria and his sister, Rilka Bekyarova, both of Bulgaria. An evening reception took place in the formal ballroom of the Esperanza Mansion following the ceremony.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Haverling Central School, attended Claremont-McKenna College in California and is now employed by CMI Research in Atlanta, Georgia. The groom is the owner of BgreenServices, an Atlanta-based recycling company. The couple reside in Mableton, Georgia. A honeymoon is planned in the spring including a reception to be held at the groom’s parents’ residence in Bulgaria.
