2 charged after tip leads to drugs

Two men were arrested Saturday, September 15, after police received a tip that two people were smoking marijuana in a parked car.
Samuel Hall, 20, of Campbell St., Bath, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.
William Didas, 18, of Hammondsport, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Bath Police said they received an anonymous tip that two people were smoking marijuana in a truck parked in front of 13 Campbell St.
An investigation discovered that Hall was in possession of a large quantity of hydrocodone pills, marijuana, digital scales and hundreds of dollars, police said.
Hall was arraigned in Savona Village Court and sent to Steuben County Jail on $5,000 cash bail. Didas was issued an appearance ticket.
