Sara J. Youngs, 80, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was born in Corning, NY on June 24, 1932 the daughter of the late Gerald and Margaret Towner.
She retired from Corning Glass in 1991 after 38 years. She loved knitting, and was an avid reader, and loved word search books.
She is survived by her children, Susan Youngs of Corning, NY, Leonard Youngs, Mark Youngs, David (Kelly) Youngs of Bath, NY and Helena “Tina” (Mike) Share of MA; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Her Service will be held at a later date, her burial will be held in Coopers Plains Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Bond-Davis Funeral Home of Bath.
