E. Claire Peacock, 85, passed away at the Steuben County Health Care Facility in Bath, NY, on Tuesday, October 23, 2012.
A resident of Bath since 2006, Claire was a retired School Teacher from West Irondequoit School District near Rochester, NY. She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Bath and until recently had served as the Church Librarian.
Claire is survived by her sister, Virginia Whitehead of Georgia; her brother, William Peacock of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and by Helen Brink of Bath, NY, with whom she shared 56 years of loving friendship.
An Inurment Service will be conducted by the Reverend Dr. Janice Fitzgerald at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Bath, NY, on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at 3:00 p.m.
Donations in Claire’s memory may be sent to the church at 6 East Morris Street Bath, NY. 14810, or to the SPCA at 7315 State Route 415 Bath, NY 14810.
Arrangements are being handled by Bond-Davis Funeral Home of Bath.
