Sarah Osborne and Brent Nadjadi were married Saturday, July 9, 2011 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, the Very Rev’d J. Brad Benson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Debbie and John Osborne of 205 W. Washington St. The groom is the son of Karen Causer and the late Clifford Nadjadi and the stepson of Jason Causer or 5539 Nipher Road.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, and Carl Johengen was the organist for the double-ring ceremony.
The bride wore a Maggie Sottero Fit and Flare gown with a corset closure in an Alabaster/Pewter color. This style boasts of sophistication with a remarkable silhouette in Soft Shimmer Satin and and innovative dimensional embellishment featuring Swarovski Crystals, with lace and flowers made from Valencia Organza and L’Amour Satin. An exquisite detachable train of tulle and Swarovski Crystals completed the gown.
The bride carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas with pink tint, alstromeria, white and pink gerber daises and green button chrysanthemums. The bride had her grandmother’s pearls, her grandmother’s handkerchief and the groom’s father’s Boy Scout pins placed in her bouquet.
Braedyn Ordway of Bath, a friend of the bride, was the Maid of Honor. Her gown was a knee-length black dress with a pink mid-sash. Her bouquet consisted of pink hydrangeas, pink gerber daisies, alstroemeria and green button chrysanthemums.
Bridesmaids were Michelle Tunison of Syracuse, Amy Bergan of Toledo, OH, Arianne Sneeringer of Pittsburgh, PA and Hollie Remchuk of Bath, all friends of the bride; Kari Beams of Binghamton, cousin of the bride; and Brianica Smith and Joey Causer, both of Bath, sisters of the groom. Their gowns were knee-length black dresses with a pink mid-sashes. Their bouquets consisted of pink hydrangeas, pink gerber daisies, alstroemeria and green button chrysanthemums.
The groom and his attendants wore Black Tuxedos with Ivory shirts. Derick Nadjadi, Fort Drum, Syracuse, brother of the groom, was the best man.
Ushers included Nate Northrup of Fort Polk, LA, Kyle Nicholson of Countryside, IL, Tim Cummings of Bath, and Irven and Rodney Pragle of Bath, all friends of the groom; Jeffery Osborne of Rochester, brother of the bride; and Coby Causer of Bath, brother of the groom.
A reception was held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial in Bath.
The bride graduated from Haverling High School in 2006 and has completed her Bachelors of Science in Marriage and Family Studies and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in School Counseling.
The groom graduated from Haverling High School in 2006 and attended Corning Community College. He is currently a Sergeant in the United States Army in the Wounded Warrior Battalion at Fort Bragg, N. Carolina.
Out-of-town guests came from N. Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Massachusetts.
