Criminal mischief
CAMERON | Deputies report the arrest of Terry C. Caparulo Jr., 29, of Cameron for fourth-degree criminal mischief on Oct. 16 after an investigation that he allegedly damaged a vehicle of a man from Swain, NY. Caparulo was given an appearance ticket for the town of Cameron court at a later date to answer the charge.
Issuing a bad check
PRATTSBURGH | Deputies report the arrest of a Prattsburgh woman following the investigation into several bad checks. Brielle C. Vanderwall, 19, was charged with nine counts of issuing a bad check. Vanderwall is scheduled to appear in the town of Prattsburgh court at a later date.
False instrument for filing
BATH | Deputies and Steuben County Department of Social Services Fraud and Legal Affairs Unit announce the arrest of Chad G. Wilson, 37, of Main Street, Savona on Oct. 12. Wilson was charged with one count of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and once count of third-degree welfare fraud. Wilson allegedly offered false statements and failed to report income in the household to Social Services which he is required to do. This results in Wilson receiving more than $8,000 in benefits over the past year that he was not entitled to. Wilson will appear in the village of Bath court at a later date to answer the charges.
DWI
CANISTEO | Deputies report the arrest of a Hornell woman after a one car motor vehicle accident that occurred on County Route 128 an the town of Canisteo. Deputies charged Renee E. Proia, 28, of Hornell with felony driving while intoxicated, moving from lane unsafely and failing to reduce speed at a curve. Deputies report that Proia was traveling North on County Route 128 when the vehicle was operating went off the right side of the roadway on a curve, struck an earth embankment and rolled over coming to rest in the North Bound lane of County Route 128. Proia was taken to Saint James Hospital in Hornell where she was treated for contusions to her head and released. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Proia was issued a court appearance ticket and will appear in the town of Canisteo court at a later date.
Several charges
ADDISON | Deputies report the arrest of Richard H. Stutzman, 42, of Addison. Stutzman was charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, and .08 blood alcohol content or higher. He was stopped for failing to keep right and after an investigation it was determined he was in an intoxicated condition. Stutzman will appear in the town of Addison court at a later date.

HORNELL | Scott M. McKibben, 17, Hornell, NY, was charged with Exposure of a Person
on Oct. 8, and was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Geneseo Town Court to answer charges on a later date.
Harassment
DANSVILLE | Richard W. Henry, 51, Dansville, NY, was arrested Oct. 11, charged with second-degree harassment. Henry will address charges in West Sparta Town Court on a later date.

DANSVILLE | Nathan K. Mountzouros, 29, Dansville, NY, was charged Oct. 12, with fourth-degree criminal mischief and was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Mt. Morris Town Court to answer charges on a later date.
