Rosemary Elizabeth Bruce died suddenly on January 23, 2013 at her home at the age of 88.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert B. Bruce, former Director of the Co-operative Extension for Steuben County.
She leaves behind her sister, Georgeanna Lane; three children, Michael (Gail), Stephen (Lisa) and Leslie (Mark) Hicks; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many wonderful friends.
Rosemary was an active member in the community for many years. Rosemary was active at St. Mary's Church, served on the Ira Davenport Hospital Auxiliary, and the Steuben County Council of Aging. An intelligent, beloved, independent woman who gave of herself to family, friends and community was able to live life her way.
A service will be held in her memory at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Mary’s Church.
