U.S. Rep. Tom Reed, R-Corning, visited Big Flats Elementary School recently to talk with fourthgraders about Congress and the government.
He asked the students several questions about the government and how it works.
When he asked the students what they thought Congress should focus on, they suggested safety, respect, citizenship and littering.
He also gave each student a copy of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.
