Marian Waite Coryell, age 85, of Bath, NY, died Monday, February 11, 2013, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY. She was the daughter of the late Warner and Anna (Tadder) Waite, born in Detroit, Michigan on August 7, 1927. She was married to Curtis Nunn of Magnolia Kentucky December 1945 in Cameron, NY. He died March 2, 1961. Marian worked most of her life providing in home care to elderly people around the Bath and Avoca area. Marian loved gardening, the outdoors, and her cat. She married John Coryell April 27, 1963.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Gerald and Donald Waite of California. She is survived by beloved daughter, Alberta Nunn of Bath; loving grandson, William (Amy) Nunn; and great grandchildren, Catie, Trevor and Nathan Nunn all of Wallace; sister, Gloria Stanton of Ithaca, NY; and nephews David and Gregory Stanton.
The family wishes a heartfelt thank you to Dr. O’Connor and Dr. Sabahat for their wonderful care and kindness.
There will be no services and no flowers. Because of her love for animals, the family requests donations in her name, be made to the SPCA, or to the American Cancer Society.
