New York State Elks Hoop Shoot West region was held in Lockport, NY on Feb. 9, 2013.
Jadyn Abrams of Bath shot 22 of 25 for age group 12-13 and Jourdan Machuga of Bath shot 17 of 25 for age group 10-11. Both girls won and will move on to states on March 2, 2013 in Seneca Falls.
Jourdan shot against girls from Horseheads, Lockport and Lyons. Jadyn shot against girls from Penn Yan, Niagara Falls and Wolcott. Jayan also got a trophy for most consecutive shots made, 10.
