Five Star Bank presented a donation of $500 to Chemung County Head Start, sponsored by the Economic Opportunity Program Inc., during a ceremony at the bank’s Elmira branch. The donation was awarded as part of the bank’s corporate charitable giving program, which primarily focuses on children and education.
Jeffrey Kenefick, regional president for Five Star Bank, Five Star Bank Elmira and Horseheads Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager Linda Confer and Five Star Bank Elmira Heights Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager Patricia Blair presented a check to Valerie Emery, human resources coordinator, and Keith Vaughan, vice president of human resources, of Economic Opportunity Program Inc. Approximately 200 children are being served by this program.
