The Steuben County Hall of Fame Committee is searching for a “hero” for 2013 and you can help us.
Help us by submitting a written nomination for someone who has distinguished himself or herself, and by doing so, has brought reflected glory to Steuben County. Nominations are being requested from people of all ages for the 2013 Hall of Fame, and they must be submitted by December 31, 2012 to the Steuben County Hall of Fame Committee.
The Steuben County Legislature sponsors the Hall of Fame to honor individuals who have earned distinction for their achievements or sevice to Steuben County and the world-at-large.
Since 1976, 126 people have been inducted into the Hall of Fame and displays of those people can be seen at the County Office Building.
The Hall of Fame Committee would particularly like to encourage the research and study of Steuben County's rich heritage by the children and young people of the County.
