Six people working at businesses in the Village of Bath were recently charged with selling alcohol to minors.
All six people were charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, a class A misdemeanor, which is punishable by up to a year in jail. Each was issued an appearance ticket.
Charged were:
• Richard W. Groat, 67, of Naples, working for Finger Lakes Wine and Spirits, West Morris Street.
• Shaileshkumar G. Patel, 37, of West Morris Street Bath, working for Easy Plus One, West Morris Street.
• David E. Meadows, 32, of Casey Lane, Bath, working for the Misba Mart, Liberty Street.
• Marcus D. Fusco, 23, of Gansevoort Street, Bath, working for Hatfields, Gansevoort Street.
• Sabrina N. Tarr, 23, of Vermont Street, Bath, working for the National Hotel, East Steuben Street.
• Char-Mae Wilkinson, 46, of Davis Avenue, Hammondsport, working for Route 54 Wine and Spirits, State Route 54.
The arrests were made during a joint investigation by the Bath Police Department and the state Liquor Authority.
