Wayland-Cohocton won the Section V, Class C championship on Saturday, while Bath was third, Hornell was sixth, Addison placed eighth and Campbell-Savona was 11th.
Colin Gilbert finished third in the 200-yard individual medley for Bath, beating out teammate Michael Conley, and placed fourth in the 100 backstroke. Meanwhile Dan Wyatt placed fourth in the 100 breaststroke and the 400 freestyle relay team of Gilbert, Drew Snavley, Dalton Robinson and Conley were fifth. Conley placed fifth in the100 freestyle.
Campbell-Savona’s Jon Pearl was fourth in the 50 freestyle and was a member of the 200 freestyle relay that finished seventh, along with Kyle Warner, Caleb Smith and Jesse Swan.
Addison’s Josh Stewart was fourth in the 100 freestyle and fifth in the 50 freestyle, and was the lead swimmer on the 200 freestyle relay team that placed fifth along with Seth Burton, Fleet and Gerard Baker.
The New York State Public High School Athletic Association meet is scheduled for March 1-2 at the Webster Aquatic Center.
