The photographs cutline: Walter J. Cribb, a chiropractor, with an office in the Shannon Bldg. on Liberty St, is shown retrieving a wallet which apparently was tossed up onto the window ledge outside his office Saturday morning. Capt. Marion Stratton of the Bath Police Department investigated the incident. The wallet belonged to David Smalt of McMaster St., who reported that he had lost it a week ago.
