Five Campbell-Savona wrestlers were honored by the Steuben County League wrestling coaches and were named to the Steuben County All-League Wrestling Team. Receiving honorable mention to the team were Geoff Hargrave and Nick Simons.
Hargrave, a freshman, was named at 120 lbs., finished the season with a 32-18 record placing third at the Section V Class BB tournament. Simons, a senior, finished the season with a 30-10 record and placed fourth at the Section V Class BB tournament.
Three other wrestlers were named to the first team All-S.C.L. squad. Ethan Hall, a freshman at 106 lbs., went 7-0 in league matches, finished with a 26-14 record and a fifth place finish in the Section V Class BB tournament. Joel Rosko, a junior at 138 lbs., had a 7-0 league record, 38-7 overall, and placed second in both the Section V Class BB tournament and the Section V State Qualifier tournament. Rosko received a state wild card to the NYSPHSAA State Championship Tournament.
Joining Hall and Rosko on the All-S.C.L. first team is Kevin Holford, a senior at 220 lbs. Holford went 7-0 in league matches and compiled a 33-8 record finishing third in the Section V Class BB tournament.
