Walter J. Faucett passed away Jan. 6, 2018 after a battle with Parkinsons, at age 88.

Franklin, Pa. – Savona, N.Y. – Walter J. Faucett passed away Jan. 6, 2018 after a battle with Parkinsons, at age 88. 

Walter was born and raised in Savona, N.Y. He was a graduate of RIT, and served four years with the Air Force. Walter was formerly employed at Westinghouse and Taylor’s Print Shop. Later opening his own print shop in Bath, before moving to Cooperstown, Pa. Walter had great technical skills. He could repair or improve almost anything mechanical. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Myron and Stella Faucett, and brother Warren Faucett. 

He is survived by brothers Fay (Nancy) and Roger (Loraine); sister-in-law Shirley Faucett; special longtime friend Helen Clark; and two nieces and one nephew.

There were no funeral services as Walter donated his body to science in Pittsburgh, Pa.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
