Hammondsport – Donald K Graham - passed away Wednesday, October 17th peacefully with family at his side. He is missed by us already. No funeral services will be held per his request, but there will be a wake held at the Hammondsport American Legion on November 10th at 12:00 pm for the celebration of Donald and Barbara’s lives.
Donald was born to Leslie Graham and Thelma Gibson Graham in Rochester, NY. He spent his school life between Rochester and Keuka Lake. After graduation he decided to join the Armed Forces and in 1945 served as an Army Tech Sgt in Belgium at the end of WWII removing German tanks and
Equipment that had been booby trapped and left behind by the occupying forces. He came back to the States and worked at Kodak from 1950 to 1982. He and his wife Barbara retired to their beloved place on Keuka Lake, where their life together continued with family until their sixty seven year marriage came to an end with the passing of his wife in December of 2017.
He was also predeceased by his brother, Bruce (Charlotte) Graham, sisters Virginia (Ben) Snyder and Dorthea Graham. He is survived by his sister Carol Gibson, his sons David (Spring) Graham, Scott (Belinda) Graham, Gary Graham and his daughter Kim (Mark) Clement, numerous nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to Hammondsport Ambulance or Hammondsport Fire Dept. Arrangements are by the LaMarche Funeral Home of Hammondsport.
