John “Big John” B. Soehner , 84, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2010.
He was a World War II Veteran, Combat Infantry, 99th Div. Bronze Star Recipient; DuPont retiree, Big Buck Club member, Giant Pumpkin Grower (personal best 711 pounds), World Traveler including four African Safaris and a Charlotte Pier Regular. He enjoyed deer hunting in the Bath and Prattsburgh area.
He is predeceased by his wife Jane 1995.
Survived by his children, Karen (Kevin) Larkin, Michael and Sheila Soehner; two grandsons, Patrick and Brady Larkin; nieces and nephews; special friends including “Sam” Barton and Wayne Shue.
Interment took place in Parma Union Cemetery. Those wishing may contributr to Greece Resident Assisting Stray Pets Inc. Or Honor Flight of Rochester in John’s memory.
