Hibbard A. Brush, age 74, of Water Street, Bath, NY died Monday, July 26, 2010. He was born July 14, 1936 in Bath, NY the son of Gordon and Leatha Marlatt Brush. Hibbard retired from the Taylor Wine Company after 30 plus years of service. He was a member of the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173 in Bath, Bath B.P.O.E. and the Bath Masons. Hibbard was a well known organist in the Bath area playing for organizations and weddings. He was a Army Veteran.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle L. (Anthony) Ritter of Bath; two sons, Douglas (Peggy) Brush of Bath and Michael (Melinda) Brush of Bath; five grandchildren; and his brother, Norman (Angie) Brush of Bath.
He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Joyce H. Brush; and sisters, Marjorie McCaig and Wanita Brush.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 30 at Fagan’s Funeral Home with Reverend Anthony Ritter officiating.
Burial with Military Honors was in Bath National Cemetery.
