Ivan Walter Pelham, age 86, of Bath, NY died Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Bath Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was born July 24, 1926 in Montour Falls the son of Glenn and Mary Vanloon Pelham. He was a self employed Cattle Dealer. He was a World War II Army Veteran. Ivan was a board member and past president of the Steuben County Agricultural Society, affiliated with the Bath Fair. He was a member of the American Legion Post 407 in Hammondsport, NY, V.F.W. Post 1470 in Bath, Mechanics Club in Montour Falls, B.P.O.E. 1546 in Watkins Glen, NY, the Steuben County Farm Bureau and the Mason’s at Myrtle Jefferson Lodge 0131 in Montour Falls, NY.
He is survived by two sons, Nicholas (Robin) Pelham of Bath, NY and Michael Pelham; grandchildren, Jamie (Jennifer) Rumsey of Bath, NY and Danielle (Matthew) Rice of Bath, NY; several nieces and nephews; and he is also survived by 1,347 Mrs. Pelham’s.
