Roy C. Munro, age 75, of Bath, died Thursday, July 8 at the Bath Veterans Administration Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 7, 1934 in Homer, NY the son of Daniel and Frances McMaster Munro. He was self employed for many years and volunteered at the Bath VAMC. He was a Navy Veteran and a member of the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173 in Bath where he was a past sergeant of arms for many years.
He is survived by his son, Chris Munro of Duncanville, TX; two sisters, Lana (Jim) Lockyer of Homer, NY and Katherine (Douglas) Sloan of Brockport, NY; and long time loving companion of 25 years, Mary Klein.
He was predeceased by two sons, Mark and Rick.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 13 at Bath National Cemetery. Memorial donations in Roy’s name may be made to the Bath American Legion Post 173, 14 W. Wiliam St, Bath, NY 14810.
