Alice R. Chissom Olney, 72, Athens, PA. Alice passed away peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father. She was born May 18, 1938 daughter of Marion and Laura (Kinney) Chissom of Bath.
She graduated from Haverling High School class of 1956. Alice was employed at Westinghouse Electric until her retirement.
She was active in the Bath Rebekah Lodge and served as vice grand in 1970 and noble grand in 1971. She contributed greatly to the photographic history of her family. Alice was a kind soul who’s greatest care was that her family was of good health and full of happiness. She had a wonderful sense of humor and deep faith.
She is per-deceased by her parents and infant brother, Myron Chissom.
Surviving are her brother, Phillman (Darlene) Chissom of Bath; her sister, Beva Chissom (Steven) Meagher of Sanford, ME; nephews, Phillman L. Chissom, Brian K, Chissom of Bath and Steven C. Meagher of Kittery, ME; nieces, Jennifer Chissom of Bath, Tamy Basinger Schenk of Buffalo, NY and Jamie Basinger Crumpton of Laramie, WY; and 12 grand nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the Bond-Davis Funeral Home, Bath, with the funeral directly afterward. Burial will be in the Nondaga Cemetery.
