Mary Lee Austin, 61, of Vero Beach, passed away on Friday, July 16 at her home.
Mary was born July 5, 1949 in Bath, the daughter of William and Frances (Jones) Austin. She grew up in Bath and was a graduate of Haverling High School, Class of 1967.  She worked for most of her life in the newspaper/printing business  She worked many years for The Evening Tribune in Hornell and most recently as a graphic designer with Schumann Printing in Vero Beach since relocating to Florida in 1993.
She enjoyed fishing, NASCAR racing and spending time with those near and dear to her heart, especially her sister Pat Butler, her best friends Carol Loucks, and Brindy Phillips (whom “Aunt” Mary thought the world of and was always so proud of), and her beloved cat, Buddy.
Mary is also survived by three brothers, William Austin of Bath,  C. Thomas Austin of Ramsey, MN, and William Snell of Bath; two sisters, Patrica Butler of Vero Beach, FL and Deborah Zansitis of Prattburg, NY; several cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
There were no calling hours. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bath Volunteer Ambulance Squad, 110 East Steuben Street, Bath, NY  14810.
