Darrel A. Newcome, age 87, formerly of Whitmore Park, Prattsburgh, NY passed away Monday, July 12 at Ira Davenport Hospital in Bath.
Mr. Newcome was born in Markton, PA on Feb. 7, 1923, the son of the late Mervin F. and Mabel (Cochran) Newcome. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was employed until retirement with Amsco in Erie, PA where he tested and sterilized hospital equipment. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Kane, Pennsylvania.
Darrel is survived by his daughters, Doreen (Charles) Dengler of Prattsburgh, NY and Darlene Newcome of Livonia, NY; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
