At the special Town Board meeting held on Tuesday March 2, there were several accusations made about lies, shady goings on, and meetings being changed.
The Bath Community should be aware of a recent incident at the Dormann Library. Sometime around 6 a.m. on the morning of Monday, Jan. 11, a water pipe broke in the attic of the Dormann Library above an office.

This past weekend, I took my dog to James St. Park. I enjoy going to the park because of the walking trails. It is such a nice area and I wish that something similar existed in Bath.

I have read in the Steuben Courier that Chesapeake Energy has made application to inject waste water from Pennsylvania into an abandoned gas well near Pulteney. According to the newspaper, the site is about one mile west of Keuka Lake.
How many of you have ever heard of a small business incubator? They're popping up all around you. The Batavia Industrial Center, not too far from Bath, is the world's first. The vacant and gigantic old Massey-Ferguson tractor plant, years ago was bought up by Joseph Mancuso and divided up into smaller spaces for beginning small businesses.
In a letter to primary voters dated September 7, 2009 Prattsburgh Town Supervisor Harold McConnell stressed that “It is also important that you elect the representatives to the town board who have the town’s best interest at heart.”

We are all aware of the trouble our economy is in and that unemployment is over 10 percent. These problems have affected all of us, but no one more than the thousands of people in our own community that rely on help from United Way funded programs.
I have been a proud contributor to the United Way since first giving to its forerunner, the Community Chest, in a country school in Western Arkansas over 60 years ago.
