To Laurie Sullivan who has lived here for 16 years but whom I have never met. If you would like to volunteer, I could use some help with the Summer Festival.
I have lived here for 26 years and there are times that I still feel like an outsider, but I really don’t give a rip.
Sometimes you have to make a place for yourself in life.
Prattsburgh is a small community (hence the appeal) and we don’t have a welcome wagon etc.
You are perpetuating the concept of “Those People” even as you condemn it, and the hypocrisy makes me shake my head. If you want to truly be a part of the community, then join in.
